The English Premier League sponsored by the world-renowned bank of Barclays is by far the world’s most-watched football league with a staggering 600 million viewers in over 200 countries. This infamous contest has officially welcomed a cryptocurrency firm sponsoring one of its teams for the upcoming season.
A sealed a sleeve sponsorship deal has been made with Wolverhampton Wanderers for an amount of money that has not been made public so far but it is certain that this sponsorship will be running for the entire duration of the 2018-19 Premier League season by the cryptocurrency exchange.
A series of unbelievably magnificent performances in the previous season’s English championship saw Wolves win the league with a staggering nine-point advantage over their closest competitors. This gave Wolves the automatic promotion to the Premier League next season they so badly needed.
CoinDeal is planning to cash in on this upward route with the club having sealed its very first sleeve sponsorship deal, which covers everything from first-team training kits, LED advertising boards and the first team dugout at Wolves’ Molineux stadium. The one year deal will see CoinDeal’s logo appear on the left sleeve of Wolves’ matchday kits next season.
CoinDeal co-founder Kajetan Maćkowiak said while speaking about the sponsorship deal:
“At CoinDeal we are very aware of the impact that football marketing can have on brand and its community, especially in an industry such as ours. We believe that a club like Wolves will help portray our message globally. It is an incredibly exciting time to be involved with Wolves, on the eve of their return to the English Premier League and we look forward to supporting them to ensure they continue their incredible performance levels both on and off the pitch.”
Wolves on the other hand have offered their opinions of praise and respect for CoinDeal for being flexible with its sponsorship requirements and have even alluded towards a chance that the platform could one day become its main shirt sponsor.
